Te’Aire Hambrick is a passionate and dedicated basketball coach with years of experience at the AAU, varsity, and middle school levels. A former college athlete, Te’Aire played for Tyler Junior College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree before transferring to Texas Southern University and later Texas College, where she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Her time as a player was marked by incredible success, including being named an All-American, All-State, and earning First and Second Team All-Conference honors. As a captain for four of her five seasons, Te’Aire led by example both on and off the court.

A proud graduate of LaPoynor High School, Te’Aire’s legacy includes making appearances at the state tournament in three out of her four years. She has a deep love for the game of basketball and a commitment to developing well-rounded athletes both on and off the court.

Te’Aire’s coaching philosophy is centered on patience, strategy, and teamwork. She believes in coaching a calm and focused team that adjusts and adapts to its opponents. As she often quotes, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships" – Michael Jordan. This philosophy underscores her approach to coaching, emphasizing that while talent is important, success is rooted in a team’s strategic thinking, discipline, and unity.

Te’Aire is committed to teaching and inspiring the youth, helping them find their way not only in sports but in life. Whether it’s through basketball, church, or community service, she’s deeply passionate about being a role model and supporting the growth of young individuals. Her love for the game is matched by her devotion to her faith and family, with those three being her top priorities.

In addition to coaching, Te’Aire is actively involved in her community, volunteering for food drives, church events, and camps. She enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding, four-wheeling, and dancing, as well as spending quality time with her loved ones.

Te’Aire’s mission is clear: to lead, inspire, and uplift her students and athletes, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the court. She’s excited for the season ahead and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her new players and making a positive impact on their lives.
