Miranda Morin
Miranda Morin has been a proud Rusk Eagle her entire life, a part of the graduating class of 2021 and now stepping into the coaching role for her first year. Coach Morin attended the University of Texas at Tyler from years 2021-2025 where she completed her bachelors in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. Coach Morin will be coaching JH volleyball and track, and will also be teaching 6th grade social studies.
Throughout Coach Morin’s time as a student athlete at RHS, she played softball, volleyball, powerlifting, cheerleading as well as sports medicine student trainer. She is very excited to now be a part of a program who has played a huge role in not only the athlete but the person that she is today. Another privilege Coach Morin will have this year is getting to coach alongside many of her own previous coaches; Coach Walley, Coach Williams, Coach Brummett, and Coach Stover.
Coach Morin’s hope is to not only be a coach who helps develop competitive athletes, but also help develop them as individuals. She is strong in her faith and knows that without God she would have never been the athlete she was and knows for certain without Him she could not be the coach she is striving to be. With that being said, as always— Go Eagles!
